Welcome to Issue number 30 of the Judgment is coming newsletter. May God bless you as you are encouraged and as you eagerly await the soon return of the Lord Jesus! The signs of impending judgment are all around us! It is a source of encouragement to the Christian as we know the Lord Jesus will very soon return!
In these last days there is a problem developing in some churches. I'm not talking about apostate churches that reject and hate sound Biblical doctrine! Those churches are already cold and hard hearted. When sound Biblical doctrine is rejected a church falls into apostasy. An apostate church has rejected the Lord Jesus, the Bible, and God's standards. Of course such a church will develop hard and cold hearts.
In this article, I'm referring to churches that have remained faithful to the basics of the Christian faith. Such a church will reject apostasy, rock music, and the latest teaching from the world of false teachers. However, it is possible and dangerous for a congregation and pastor to lose their first love to the Lord Jesus! A church can keep on doing the good works but lose their first love. The church of Ephesus did just that! See below:
Rev 2
1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith
he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in
the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou
canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which
say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast
laboured, and hast not fainted.
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left
thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and
do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and
will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes,
which I also hate.
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of
life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Look at the above verses:
Verse 2 shows that this is a church filled with good works. This church will not accept false teaching and will reject wolves and false teachers
verse 3 shows that this church is busy doing works for the Lord
verse 4 shows that all the good works are being done while the people have lost their first love for the Lord. Just doing works and being faithful to sound doctrine is not enough if your love for the Lord has grown stale and you have lost your first love. First and foremost, the Lord wants the love in your heart. From there a person can serve the Lord with great joy. Once a person loves the Lord, he then serves the Lord with a loving heart. This was the problem with the church of Ephesus. They had lost their love for the Lord Jesus but kept on doing the good works.
Mark 12
29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is,
Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and
with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy
strength: this is the first commandment.
Losing ones first love to the Lord Jesus is a terrible thing to happen. The result of a church assembly losing their first love is this:
It starts with the pastor and the leadership staff and flows down to the congregation. First the pastor grows distant in his heart to the Lord Jesus. Over time he develops a cold spirit. With time the leadership and congregation are also affected. Cold hearts develop toward other people (usually new comers) in the congregation. This can be manifested by a church that is very clannish and cold to new people. Family members and people who have been in the church for years do not openly welcome and love outsiders. They may greet newer members and say 'hi' occasionally, but the newer people never really feel welcome or a part of the body of believers. Some churches may develop man-made legalistic rules that are to be followed if one is to be accepted in the church. Silly things like detailed hat rules, overly detailed dress standards, or the false teaching of making Sunday the 'Sabbath' and attaching all kinds of man-made rules to that day. A form of 'spiritual' pride develops from within the congregation. If outsiders do not submit to the legalistic man-made rules defined by such a congregation, they are looked down upon. The newcomer will never really fit into such a church congregation.
EXAMPLES OF COLD HEARTED LEGALISM
For example, I know of one church that is very good on basic doctrines of the Christian faith including separation from ecumenical and compromising assemblies. However, one cannot become a member of that church unless they accept the false teaching of a Sunday Sabbath and commit to keeping that day along with all the attached man-made rules. They even go as far as to say that if a person does not obey God in this man-made Sunday Sabbath, a person will perish in hell. So this assembly defines the false teaching of a Sunday Sabbath and then attaches all kinds of man-made rules to that day. Then if a person does not agree with them in this false teaching, they are condemned and looked down upon 'spiritually'. Such a person cannot even join the church without submitting to their man-made laws! Sadly, such churches tend to have small and clannish congregations with cold hearts in the leadership and in the congregation.
Another example would be in a youth group setting. In a cold church, 'outsiders' would not be accepted by the clan of church youth who grew up in the church. A new person may feel that they were lucky to get a 'hi' out of these clannish kids. Newcomers would not feel welcome and would be ignored by the long time church kids. This pattern would happen each time a new member came to church and tried to fit in. The adults would also be made to feel like 'outsiders' as well by the long time congregation members. The sad end result would be families leaving the cold hearted church. I know of one church where the children of a family made it very clear to the parents that they did not want to attend that assembly because of the cold hearted church young people. It wasn't long before that family left the church.
THE CAUSE AND SOLUTION!
What does this all mean? The (root cause) is a cold heart to the Lord. When a congregation develops cold hearts in its members, this is an indication that there exists a much deeper problem. That deeper problem will be cold hearts in the pastor and the leadership staff as they have lost their first love to the Lord Jesus. When the leadership is cold to the Lord Jesus, it flows down into the congregation. The congregations are filled with people who have lost their first love to the Lord. As a result their hearts become cold and this cold atmosphere spreads throughout their church. Over time newer members leave because they really don't feel welcome or they feel this church is not their 'home' church because they just don't belong. New people feel like outsiders who are never really accepted by the cold hearted congregation. Have you ever felt that way in a church congregation?
Rev 2
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and
do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and
will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
So, if you are a pastor what should be done to prevent winter
from taking root in yourself and the hearts of the people of
your congregation. Look at the above verse. The Lord Jesus says
to remember and repent. Remember when you were first saved,
remember the closeness and love of the Lord, remember the promises
of the Lord and the fact of His soon return, and repent. The key
is for the church leadership to grow very close to the Lord in
love. A strong love for the Lord will manifest itself in love
toward God's people (the sheep of His pasture). After all, a
pastor's job is to love and build up God's people. This fact must
be remembered by the church leadership and applied. Also,
a Godly and teachable heart must be present in the leadership. If
corrections must be made by the leadership then drop the pride thing
and do it. I'm not talking about corrections needed by God's people.
I'm talking about corrections needed by the church leadership! Many
times I have heard a pastor criticizing God's people when instead the
pastor and his leadership team are the ones who need to heed and obey
correction. The goal for church leadership is to one day (very soon)
receive that "Well done my faithful servant" from the Lord Himself!
So remember this:
1) Church leadership is to love and grow close to the Lord
2) Church leadership is to love God's people and seek to build
them up in love and sound Biblical teaching. Heresy must be rejected
and God's people must be warned of the deceptions and evil of this
day.
A shepherd (pastor) cares for the sheep. He feeds them good food from the Word of God and leads them in a good way. A good shepherd warns the sheep so they will know to stay far away from danger. There are many false preachers from within the Christian church that are teaching heresy. God's people need to be warned and trained to use their own discernment so wolves can be identified and rejected. This is your job pastor and hopefully you and your leadership team will take it very seriously! A pastor is a man who will be called to account for his stewardship over God's people. This is a very serious job and not one to be taken lightly.
Remember that sound Biblical doctrine is only divisive to those who hate the Lord! With the return of the Lord so near, it is time NOW to take a proper stand before the Lord! There are times when the truth will cause division. False tares hate sound Biblical doctrine and their love of false teaching must be confronted and rejected. Examples of false teachings and practices within the church are: Warrens purpose driven heresies, the ecumenical and doctrinally liberal Alpha course, all the tongues and signs and wonders movement, Romanism and ecumenical compromisers like Billy Graham, promise keepers, atheistic psychology/psycho-heresy (Dobson ministry), rock music, the occult witchcraft blasphemy of (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Narnia), and finally the wolves like Benny Hinn, Copeland, Schuller, Hagee, and others. Finally, avoid the perverted new Bible versions based on the corrupted Greek and Hebrew manuscripts perverted by the warlocks Wescot and Hort as well as the Vatican. Stick with the time tested and true KJV that is not based on corrupted manuscripts. Pastors who love the Lord and God's people need to remove such evil from their churches and to teach and warn Christians about the dangers of these practices.
Next we will look at apostate churches that Christians should leave if they attend such a church.
APOSTATE CHURCHES TO LEAVE
2 Thess 2
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not
come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of
sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
In these last days, there are many apostate churches. Such churches at one time in their history were Bible believing fundamental churches. Over time the leadership fell away into compromise, rock music, heresy, perverted Bible versions and worldliness. These churches are filled with evil people who actually hate God while they form a church and pretend to worship God. They are literally the congregation of Satan and the coming antichrist. Their so called worship services is evil and rejected of the Lord. Entertainment, rock music, mindless repetition of singing chorus's, and shallow apostate teaching marks such a church. These churches despise and hate sound Biblical teaching. They claim to be tolerant and 'loving' but if their heresies are challenged, these people become the most nasty and insulting people one could ever meet. False teachers are uplifted and praised while those who love the Lord and sound Biblical doctrine are hated and despised. They are called evil names like unloving, heresy hunters, divisive etc. Such a church is marked by the fact that the Lord left that place long ago and has no business in there! If by chance you attend such a church, then get out now! Do not destroy your children or your faith by staying inside and trying to do a good work. Get out and leave and shake the dust off your feet. Hunt down and attend a good congregation that loves the Lord and sound Biblical doctrine! After the coming rapture these people in apostate churches will be left behind and will eagerly line up to worship and accept the coming antichrist and his mark.
CONCLUSION
The Lord Jesus is coming back and those with eyes to see can see that day approaching quickly. Soon all God's saved people will be caught up into the air to forever be with the Lord!
1 Thess 4
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we
which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not
prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I
would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again,
and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
It is very important to walk closely with the Lord in these last days before the return of the Lord Jesus. The earth is trembling with the impending mighty judgment of God about to hit this planet. After the rapture all the 7 seals of judgment found in the book of Revelation will be opened as God sends terrible judgments to the earth. The Lord will completely destroy the wicked from the earth in the days ahead!
Heb 10
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and
to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the
manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the
more, as ye see the day approaching.
This means God's people need to encourage, support, and build each other up in these last days. Pastors and church leaders need to be very close to God and to do their best to keep the chilling of hearts out of themselves and their congregation. There is but just a little time left before the rapture. Now is the time to draw near to the Lord and to be a blessing to God's born-again children!

20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly.
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Today it is considered normal for people to live together without being married.
It is also considered normal to be married several times. People don't realize
that it is impossible to live a happy life without obeying God's morality and
standards for marriage. God warns that He will judge the immoral who makes a
mockery of His standards.

Half of Americans 20 to 69 years of age believe marriage is not necessary -- according to a new study.
Zogby International and AOL surveyed more than 7,000 Americans in that age bracket and found 44 percent who said marriage is not necessary in order to have a committed, fulfilling, life-long relationship. Mike McManus, president of Marriage Savers -- a group that works to help churches reduce divorce rates, finds that number shocking.
"People who are married live longer, they're healthier, they're happier; they're wealthier," he points out. "A man who's single, for whatever reason, will live ten years less than a married man; a woman, about four years less."
Most of the survey respondents also said that they would prefer living together before getting married. "Unfortunately, the marriage message just doesn't seem to be getting out to the public," continues McManus. "And what we have is a reflection of Hollywood morals ... in the culture." ...continued...
The pro-marriage advocate expects similar survey results in the future if churches
do not do a better job promoting the benefits of marriage and exposing the pitfalls

Living together (in sin) is very common these days. Sadly, it is also very
common in many Churches! Some who use the name Christian live just like the
world. There was a day, many years ago, when living together outside of marriage
was a big "No, No". Today, that sin is very common. Here is one point to consider:
People within the church who live just like the world, are showing that they
are just as unsaved as the world. These people may attend a church but they
are still lost and heading for hell. Their actions and lifestyle show that they
do not belong to the Lord Jesus.

Here we are! In these days of great apostasy and falling away from God and the

They do not know if they are a boy or a girl so the laws are changing. Soon public

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - A drug-resistant strain of potentially deadly bacteria has moved beyond the borders of U.S. hospitals and is being transmitted among gay men during sex, researchers said on Monday.
They said methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA, is beginning to appear outside hospitals in San Francisco, Boston, New York and Los Angeles.
Sexually active gay men in San Francisco are 13 times more likely to be infected than their heterosexual neighbors, the researchers reported in the Annals of Internal Medicine.
"Once this reaches the general population, it will be truly unstoppable," said Binh Diep, a researcher at the University of California, San Francisco who led the study. "That's why we're trying to spread the message of prevention."
According to chemical analyses, bacteria are spreading among the gay communities of San Francisco and Boston, the researchers said.
"We think that it's spread through sexual activity," Diep said.
This superbug can cause life-threatening and disfiguring infections and can
often only be treated with expensive, intravenous antibiotics.

Incidence of MRSA is rising along with the resurgence of syphilis, rectal
gonorrhea, and new HIV infections partly because of changes in beliefs about
the severity of HIV and an increase in risky behaviors, such as illicit drug
use and having sex that abrades the skin, Diep's team wrote.
"Your likelihood of contracting each of these diseases increases with the number of sexual partners that you have," Diep said. "The same can probably be said for MRSA."
Staph infections often look like raised red dots on the skin. Left untreated, the areas can swell and fill with pus.
The best way to avoid infection is by washing the hands or genitals with soap

Hidden truth about genetic modification

AUSTRALIA is witnessing the vicious "attack and disinform" tactics used to divert attention from evidence that GM foods are dangerous to health and bad for the economy. Andrew Bolt's rambling and bizarre personal attack on me on November 30 follows 15 years of victimisation of those who identify the dangers that threaten biotech profits.
Consider Dr Arpad Pusztai, the world's leading scientist in his field, who inadvertently discovered in 1998 that unpredictable changes in GM crops caused massive damage in rats.
He went public with his concerns and was a hero at his prestigious institute for all of two days.
The director of the institute received two phone calls, allegedly from the UK prime minister's office, and Dr Pusztai was fired after 35 years and silenced with threats of a lawsuit.
False statements were circulated to trash his reputation and these statements are being repeated by Australian GM advocates today.
According to University of California professor Ignacio Chapela, when he was about to publish evidence that GM corn contaminated Mexico's indigenous varieties, a senior Mexican government official threatened him.
"We know where your children go to school," he was told.
In Russia, Dr Irina Ermakova, a leading scientist at the Russian National Academy of Sciences, fed female rats GM soy.
She was stunned to discover that more than half their offspring died within three
weeks, compared with only 10 per cent from mothers fed non-GM soy.

Modifying the genetic structure of our food is a very dangerous thing to do. The
scientists really do not know what they are doing and what will be the negative
results from playing with the gene code in food. They just try things and later see
