Welcome to this months issue of The Rapture Report! This month the
major focus is on the occult. In these last days before the Lord Jesus
returns there is literally an occult explosion. The devil is trying
to get as many people as possible involved with the occult. Children
and older children (pre 20's) are the devils prime target. He is using
occult computer games, occult books, occult videos, and occult in the
rock music to deceive and enslave. The sad thing is that his plans
are working. People ARE flocking blindly into the occult thinking it
is 'fun'. The Bible calls all of the occult an abomination to God. It
is a very terrible sin that all who love the Lord Jesus will avoid!
The lost and the tares just love the occult and think of all kinds of
excuses to justify this sin. In this issue we will be looking at
several occult computer related games in the article: EVIL OCCULTIC
GAMES. Next, there is an article looking at the demonic Harry
Potter, his books and occultism. I have to repeat myself here.
Before God all this occultism is gross sin and is an abomination.
There is no justification whatsoever for playing with the occult.
It is evil and Satanic and everyone who claims to belong to God
will avoid and remove any such filth from their homes and lives.
Also covered is a short article about the peace (piece) process going on in Israel. The lost are busy parting God's Holy land that He has given to the Jewish people. It is all their (the Jews) land as God has given it to them. One day after their 70th week of Daniel's prophecy, Israel will receive the entire allotment of land given to them by God. Until then we sit back and witness the current Godless leaders in Israel, USA, and the world try to solve the Jerusalem problem. This is all Bible prophecy and points to the rapture and after that the rise of the antichrist who will give the world a solution to problems. This man will literally conquer the world and he will do it by peace. However, nothing can happen until the rapture when the restrainer is removed. At this point the Holy Spirit who is currently restraining evil in the world through the Church will stop restraining as the Church is taken to heaven. The devil will then be free to put his plans into action as he tries to fight God and God's people.
Finally, there is an article about the immoral fornicators and the fact that AIDS is increasing. I would encourage people if they are immoral fornicators that they go out and buy themselves a coffin as they will need it soon. This would include all sodomites, all adulterers, and all fornicators. There is a price to pay for acting like an immoral dog. That price involves judgment, sickness, pain, and a shortened life span. Quite a price to pay for being an immoral God rejecting person, isn't it?

President Clinton and the gang were unable to hammer out a piece treaty between Israel and the PLO. I say 'piece' because it is nothing more than another Israel land carve up session or parting of the Holy Land session. Here is how it works. Clinton promises billions of dollars (that he doesn't have) of aid to both sides if a piece treaty can be agreed upon. Arafat had to do nothing whereas Barak had to be willing to give up everything. In fact, things that Barak said he would never give up, like East Jerusalem, he was willing to put on the table. Still Arafat wanted more and would not agree. Actually Arafat and the PLO are still sworn enemies against Israel and they really want it all. They want all the land of Israel and look forward to the day when every Jew is driven into the sea. Yet the leaders of Israel ignore such details.
At any rate the piece talks ended in failure with the dividing issue over the city of Jerusalem. Wait a minute! Does that sound familiar? In the last days will the tiny city of Jerusalem in the tiny nation of Israel become a world problem? Yes it will! That is exactly what the Bible says will happen. Read the following:
Zech 12
1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD,
which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of
the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the
people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against
Judah and against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for
all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in
pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together
against it.
What we are witnessing today is the city of Jerusalem becoming a major problem for the world. It is literally a 'cup of trembling' and a 'brudensome stone'. The Muslims want the city for their religious reasons. The Jewish people want the city as their roots to the city go back thousands of years. Even Mr. Pope wants the city as he recognizes it as a center of religious worship. I would expect troubles over Jerusalem to continue. There are no solutions to the problem of Jerusalem at this point in time. However, one day (perhaps soon) the antichrist will rise to power and he will have an agreeable solution for the city of Jerusalem. The piece process will one day be totally resolved by the antichrist himself!
The good news is we can see the day of the rapture coming closer. Before the antichrist can be revealed the Church must be removed. The Holy Spirit is restraining evil in and through the Church - the body of Spirit filled true believers. Once the rapture occurs, the Church will be removed and the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit will cease. This will allow the devil to freely run his evil programs here on earth. The antichrist will be free to rise to power. At some point after the revealing of the antichrist, a peace treaty will be signed with Israel and the antichrist. It will be a 7 year treaty which will actually begin the 70th (and final) week of Daniel's prophecy. At that time, issues concerning Jerusalem and the Holy land will be resolved.
So in these closing days before the return of the Lord Jesus, be sure to watch Jerusalem. The Bible says that we will be able to see the DAY coming. Even though we are able to see the approaching day, one thing we cannot do is to set a date. God is in control of the times and seasons. God could make the rapture happen today, tomorrow, next week, or next year. From our vantage point, we can simply see that things are getting ready and prepared for the time when the antichrist will rise to rule and reign.
1 Thess 5
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that
I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh
as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction
cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall
not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should
overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day:
we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and
be sober.
The signs of the times indicate that we are nearing the end of this present age. The increasing trouble over Jerusalem is one such sign out of many in these last days.
In this tract we will look at a few of the evil and occultic games that are quite popular with the lost youth in these last days. The sad thing is many church going people who claim to be Christians also let their children get involved in these things. Some are blatantly occultic and evil while others are occultic but packaged in a nice and deceptive way. Pokemon and Harry Potter would be examples of the slick way the devil tries to introduce children to the occult. Rock music is also an open door to the occult but that topic is not covered in this tract.
With the advent of computers there are all kinds of electronic games that run on video machines, handhelds, or computers. Most games are good and harmless fun for both the young and old. However, others are filled with spells, witchcraft, demons, and occultic powers. The evil occultic game of Dungeons and Dragons was very popular among the godless before the computer age. I'm sure there are still plenty of dungeon masters out there serving demonic deities and casting spells as they play their game. Now, people can meet online on the internet for occultic gatherings where people all over the world can do witchcraft and practice the occult in a community setting. Many computer games now come with quests into dungeons and occultic lands where monsters dwell and spells and magic abound. People can go to the nearest software store and find all kinds of games filled with occultism and evil.
The occult with all its witchcraft and spell casting is not innocent fun and should not be considered as such. Many partake and ignore any warnings by saying it is just harmless fun. On the other hand God, in the Bible, clearly states that all forms of the occult is an abomination to Him. Those who practice the occult are blaspheming God and are committing spiritual harlotry. It is not a light sin in the eyes of God. Here is what God says:
Deut 18
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son
or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination,
or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard,
or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD:
and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them
out from before thee.
God calls all of the occultic practices an abomination to Him. All the things that God calls an abomination are used in today's occulitc games. These games are filled with enchanters, spells, witches, charmers, necromancers, wizards, demons, deities etc. God has not changed! It was an abomination back in the Old Testament days and it is still an abomination today.
Getting involved with an occult game is not a light thing at all. It is very dangerous and all who claim to be a Christian will avoid and reject such things. A person who is truly saved wants to please God. Therefore committing an abomination against Him by partaking of occultic practices is not something one of God's people would do.
With that introduction lets look at a few occultic games out there that are popular to lost young people. Before you continue reading be sure to look at Deuteronomy 18:10-12 again. Keep those verses in mind as you read about the occultic games out there.
DUNGEON KEEPER 2

Now in light of God's attitude as seen in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, is Dungeon Keeper a choice for good wholesome entertainment for children (young or old)? The answer, of course is: NO. It is an occultic game and should be rejected and avoided.
Next lets look at another game. This game is a 'new release' as of July 2000, so it is 'hot' off the demonic press:
DIABLO II
Here is some 'promo' stuff for the Satanic game Diablo II:

I was in a computer store and they had a whole rack of brand new Diablo II games on display. I heard a child say that this store was 'scary' and she wanted to leave. I understood as on the cover of Diablo II is a big ugly demon head in a hellish background. That is scary stuff for children. I asked the manager and he said that it was a very popular game among the older kids and it was selling quite well. He understood that little children would find it scary, but they are not the ones who buy and play this popular game. The market is targeted to teens and above.

ULTIMA ONLINE
Here is a description and promotion of the latest version of the internet based Ultima Online: (another occult game).

Sounds like fun doesn't it? Learn and cast over 100 different
spells and destroy ember demons (whatever they are). I'm sure
God is pleased with such an occultic game. Don't you think so?
No? Yes? It is very plain to see that Nox is another evil and
occultic game. This game is also filled with abominations
against God and should be rejected and avoided. God's people
will not even consider such a game. Lost people love this type
of stuff. To them it is just - fun and games on the way to a
lost eternity in the lake of fire!
PANTY RAIDER:
Going briefly aside from the occult, there are also immoral games that have targeted young teens. Panty Raider is one such game. Here is the promo info:
Simon and Schuster has announced a new CD-ROM computer game where
"...to win the game, boys must strip supermodels down to their
underwear, then provide photographs of them to aliens who 'wore
out' their one lingerie catalog - or else the aliens' 'hormone
driven anger' will destroy the earth." ... "Gamers will Seek
Out Supermodels to Strip Them Down to Their Bra and Panties."
The player assumes the role of "Nelson," an innocent bystander
is forced to help the aliens in their perverted quest.
Nelson's job is to photograph specific models, wearing
specific types and colors of underwear (as specified by the
aliens). If Nelson does not get the photos that the aliens are
asking for, in the amount of time given, the aliens will
destroy Earth.

So, today lost teenagers can learn how to be a spellcasting wizard
and when they need a rest, they can learn how to be a pervert by
playing Panty Raider. Even the game promo makes the statement
that it is a 'perverted quest'. Read the promo above again if
you missed that statement.
I believe this is just the beginning. As the days get closer to the return of Jesus, there will be much more apostasy, occultism, and perversion in games.
THE YOUNGER CROWD
Satan is also targeting the young children with demonic toys and games. One popular game is Pokemon. At first it all looks innocent. These little sets of demon like creatures are fighters. They will increase in psychic energy and become good fighters. Pokemon, Digimon etc. are nothing but candy coated occultism to be fed directly to young children. Parents who love God and wish to raise their children for God should avoid this demonic trash.
Harry Potter is more candy coated occultism for children. His books are best sellers and are filled with the occult and spells. You see Harry is a wizard trainee. The basic Potter scenario is about an unhappy child who discovers a co-existing, liberating world of magic, and is sent to wizards' school to explore its craft. All this is an abomination to God, but godless parents certainly do not care. It is very natural for people who reject God to get very close to the devil.
This is a very sad thought... how many Christian families let their children get involved with Pokemon or Harry Potter? How many church pastors allow Harry Potter into their assembly? One liberal-apostate 'Christian' magazine (Christianity Today) has articles on the web praising the Harry Potter books while dismissing the blatant occultism! Apostates like Colson praise Harry Potter books and Ministry like Dobson have little to say against it. This is very sad indeed. Surely we are in the last days apostasy where we see people falling away from the foundations of the Christian faith. All that can be said is... come back soon Lord Jesus!
It does not take much common sense to see the Satanic plans to get children into the occult and away from God. Parents really need to be discerning and keep this Satanic trash away from their children! If a parent loves their children, then they will diligently watch over them and their toys, books, and interests. Those parents who just do not care, will reap a deadly harvest of rebellion and disobedience in the years to come.
THE DEVIL'S GOALS
What are the devil's goals in spreading occultism? Here are a couple suggestions:
- Raise up a godless generation. The devil knows his time is short. He knows that soon he will have the chance to attack God and His people by the antichrist and his kingdom. Raising up a godless generation that loves the occult while rejecting God is good preparation for the days of the antichrist. We are in the last days. Soon the antichrist will arise. Occultism will increase in popularity among the lost in these last days.
- The ultimate goal is to reject Jesus. The occult is a pathway to perdition. Those on the broad road to hell simply love the occult with all the powers, spells, and excitement. Those who reject Jesus love sin and evil. Embracing the occult is a very natural thing for a lost person to do.
THE OCCULT: WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY
We are living in days where there is an occult explosion. We have fortune tellers with 1-900 numbers to occultic warlocks and witches on Saturday morning cartoons. Everyone in society is exposed in some way to the occult. Only those who walk with God have the discernment to avoid and stay away from it. Here is what God thinks of fortune telling, wizards, spells, astrology, and other occult practices. We start by looking again at the main verse for this tract in Deuteronomy chapter 18.
Deuteronomy 18
9. When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth
thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those
nations.
10 There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son
or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination,
[or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard,
or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things [are] an abomination unto the LORD:
and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them
out from before thee.
The above verses are pretty clear. The occult is an abomination to God. It is not a light thing to do or simply, harmless fun. It is an offense to God Almighty and all God's people will avoid such demonic trash.
2 Kings 23
24 Moreover the [workers with] familiar spirits, and the wizards, and
the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in
the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might
perform the words of the law which were written in the book that
Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD.
In the above verse Josiah 'put away' the fortune tellers and the wizards (spell casters etc). This means those who practiced the occult were removed from the land. They were kicked out and removed as a person would clean out his house of dirty garbage. By doing so he was obeying God. What about you reader, are you obeying God? Have you removed the occult from your house?
2 Kings 21
1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned
fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was
Hephzibah.
2 And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, after
the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the
children of Israel.
3 For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father
had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove,
as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven,
and served them.
4 And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD
said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts
of the house of the LORD.
6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times,
and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards:
he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke
[him] to anger.
King Manasseh was an evil King in Israel. What things did he do that was considered evil? Read the above closely. He got heavily involved in the occult and other such abominations to God. Doing all these things 'wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord'. That is an interesting thought. Do you think God is unaware of your occult involvement? Do you think He does not know that you allow your children to play occult/immoral games in your home. If you or your child is playing Diablo II and using the occult to fight the other Prime Evils, Mephisto and Baal.... is God unaware of this abomination? Is it really 'harmless fun' to play with things God considers wickedness and an abomination?
Expect a dramatic increase in the occult and demonic as we get closer to the second coming of the Lord Jesus. As godless men and women reject God they will embrace evil and the occult. It will soon be so widespread that occultic things will be considered normal everywhere. Just as sexual sin is considered normal these days... so will the occult. Keep in mind that all occultism is an abomination to God. God hates it and warns people to stay clear from this evil. It is impossible for a person to play around with the occult and leave unharmed. One cannot pick up demonic fire and not get burned!
What should be done if you have occultic objects, toys, or games in your house? Simple... destroy them. Do not garage sell them and give them to someone else. No, destroy this Satanic trash and never again allow such filth into your house. This is a simple act of obedience for those who love God. (who may have gone astray) Below is an example of people destroying the occult things in their homes:
Acts 19
19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books
together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the
price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
God will judge those involved with the occult. It is not harmless fun. Instead it is an abomination to God. God's attitude toward the occult has not changed. When God ruled Israel by theocracy, it was a capital offence to be involved in the occult. See the below verses:
Exo 22
18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
In days past people who practiced witchcraft with all the spells and fortune telling were put to death. For God to make such a law shows His disapproval against this evil.
Lev 20
27 A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a
wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with
stones: their blood shall be upon them.
Again the death penalty for those who practice the occult.
1 Sam 28
3 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him,
and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put
away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of
the land.
Saul had 'put away' the occultists out of the land. This means he kicked them out of Israel. It was a capital offence to practice the occult in those days.
Granted, today we do not live under those laws so witches, wizards, and other occultists are not put to death or driven from the land. However, God will still judge those involved in the occult. One thing I can say for certain, is those who practice the occult will not go to heaven. What I said is very true. People who reject God just love the things of the devil. Below is a list of things greatly beloved by the devil and by lost people. Notice verse 21 clearly states those involved in the occult will not inherit the kingdom of God. That means they will perish forever in the lake of fire. It means they will not be going to heaven!
Gal 5
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;
Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath,
strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:
of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time
past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the
kingdom of God.
What more can be said than has been said in verse 21 above: '...that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
CONCLUSION
So reader, what is your decision? In this tract we have shown a brief sampling of several popular occult and evil games. Several Bible verses were presented showing God's attitude toward the occult. It is very clear that God considers the occult an abomination and great wickedness. This means any part of the occult should be avoided. What are you going to do reader? Is it time to clean up your house? Or do you remain unchanged and plan to continue in your rebellion and 'harmless fun'? For those who love God and belong to Him, then it is house cleaning time! Gather up all things related to the occult from astrology, to fortune telling, to occult games. Next, destroy and trash all of them so no one else can be cursed by this Satanic trash. Finally, confess to God that you have sinned in allowing this trash into your house and life.
Below is a challenge to serve the Lord and to remove evil and abominations from your life. I hope you make the right choice!

the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house,
we will serve the LORD.
Satan is up to some very nasty things in these last days. Let me start by saying that the occult is an abomination to God. The God of the Bible hates the occult and years ago when He ruled Israel, such practices earned the death penalty. See the below verses:

27 A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a

6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits,
and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set
my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among
his people.
7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the
LORD your God.
As you can see above in historical days in Israel's past, it was a criminal offense to be involved in any way with the occult. The above verses are commands given from God to His people. God's attitude toward the occult can be clearly seen. Quite simply, He does not like the occult. In fact God likens it to spiritual harlotry. Men have a choice. They can either believe and trust in God or they can reject God and in effect, accept the devil and his ways. Harry Potter is for those who have rejected God and have accepted the devil and his ways. The occult with all the spells, wizards, and psychic powers is part of the devil and his ways.
I'll start early in this tract by stating very clearly that occult books like Harry Potter is nothing but a gross sin and an abomination against God. People who reject God get very close to the devil. Harry Potter is great for those who reject God. People who want nothing to do with Jesus, salvation, eternal life, and heaven, have a great interest in Satan's wizards and spell casting. Hence, Harry Potter has a place in those peoples lives.
If you, reader, approve of Harry Potter and even let your children read that Satanic filth, then you are on the devils side. You either choose God or you choose the devil. Those who accept Harry Potter with all the spells and wizardry are choosing the devil. It is as simple as that!
THE OCCULTIC WIZARD BOY, HARRY POTTER
After making these truthful points, lets continue to look at Harry Potter:
The series of occult books about a boy called Harry Potter is a great success (in the godless-worldly sense). Kids are reading the books and they are selling at an incredible pace. Lost people think it is great the children are so interested in reading Potter books. After all, parents want their children to be good at reading and it is a chore to encourage them in that direction. Then along comes Harry Potter. All of a sudden, there is a great interest in reading these occultic books. Lost parents are happy that their children are developing such an interest in books. After all, they rationalize, it is just about magic/spells/wizards and that is just harmless fun in a make-believe land. Is that really true? Is Harry Potter and his wizardry just harmless fun? Does God think Harry Potter books are harmless fun to be enjoyed by all? We will be addressing this throughout this tract.
So the popularity of Harry Potter is very great now. Book 4 was released recently and there was midnight madness release sales to welcome the new book. People went to great lengths to get their hands on this book. This is very sad and is just another signpost showing our godless society before the return of Jesus.
Let's look at a few pictures of Harry Potter. In this first picture notice the Satanic lightning bolt on the forehead of Potter.
See the Satanic lightning bolt. Yes, Harry Potter is part of the devil's plan. The occult may be candy-coated but it is very real and present in Harry Potter. People in the occult like to be associated with occult symbols. The Satanic lightning bolt is associated with Harry Potter.
Next, look above as see what Potter is riding. Looks like he is riding a broom (symbol of witchcraft) to me. This is very natural for such an occult wizard as Harry Potter. Also notice the letter 'P' in Potter's name. It too has the Satanic lightning bolt on it. Also look at the white unicorn in the background. This is another symbol of the occult.
Finally, above we see the little wizard Harry Potter with his magic wand. Look at all the little flashes of stars in the air of occult POWER. That is the name of the game in the occult. Doing spells makes a person feel they have real power and control in this life. It is all a lie because it is demonic power which enslaves and destroys. Of course the Satanic lightning bolt is present in the 'P' of Potter.
We saw that the Satanic 'S' in the form of a lightning bolt is used with Harry Potter. What does that symbol represent? Well it represents a lightning bolt that means "Destroyer". In mythology, it was the weapon of Zeus. It is worn to have power over others. Plus, this symbol was worn by the feared SS of Nazi Germany (who were also into Satanism). Finally the Satanic 'S' or the lightning bolt symbolizes Satan's fall from heaven. Here is the verse related to the Satanic lightning bolt and the fall of Satan:

18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall
from heaven.
It is only fitting that Harry Potter be shown with a Satanic lightning bolt. Satan loves to attach symbols to his own work. Just look at the rock and roll scene. There are all kinds of Satanic symbols such as upside down crosses, hexagrams, pentagrams, Satanic lightning bolts, and 666's. Harry Potter is marked in association with the Satanic lightning bolt. You see, Satan fell from heaven as lightning and the devil wishes to destroy in hell as many people as possible. Harry Potter is one of the many pathways to hell for those who live in rejection of the Lord Jesus.
THE OCCULT IS AN ABOMINATION TO GOD!
There is also very little said from within the Christian church about Harry Potter. True there are some who are trying to get the books banned from schools. But there certainly is not a great outcry against this latest fad in occultism. Why is this so? Never before has the occult been made so attractive and packaged so nicely. Children are being led, by a Satanic pied piper, into the occult. The Bible clearly states that occultism is forbidden and it is an abomination to Him. See the following verse:
Deuteronomy 18
9. When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth
thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those
nations.
10 There shall not be found among you [any one] that
- maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or]
- that useth divination,
- [or] an observer of times,
- or an enchanter,
- or a witch,
- 11 Or a charmer,
- or a consulter with familiar spirits,
- or a wizard,
- or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things [are] an abomination unto the LORD:
and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them
out from before thee.
Hey, the above list covers the major story lines and adventures of Harry Potter. His books are filled with wizards and spell casting. Notice verse 12 above. God says that those people who do those things are committing an abomination against Him. That is a pretty strong warning isn't it? Those involved with the occultism in Harry Potter are committing an abomination against God. Does committing an abomination against God sound like 'harmless fun'? I think not!
We are living in days where there is an occult explosion. We have fortune tellers with 1-900 numbers to occultic wizards and witches on Saturday morning cartoons. Everyone in society is exposed in some way to the occult. Only those who walk with God have the discernment to avoid and stay away from it. What about you reader, do you have the discernment or care to reject the occult? Take a moment and answer God right now in the heart of your hearts as He is very near.
The above verses are pretty clear. The occult is an abomination to God. It is not a light thing to do and it is not harmless fun. Instead, it is an offense to God Almighty and all God's people will avoid such demonic trash. Let's look at more verses to see God's attitude and judgment against the occult:
2 Kings 23
24 Moreover the [workers with] familiar spirits, and the wizards, and
the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in
the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might
perform the words of the law which were written in the book that
Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD.
In the above verse Josiah 'put away' the fortune tellers and the wizards (spell casters etc). This means those who practiced the occult were removed from the land. They were kicked out and removed as a person would clean out his house of dirty garbage. By doing so King Josiah was obeying God. What about you reader, are you obeying God? Have you removed the occult from your house? Do you realize that if Harry Potter lived in the land of Israel in those days, King Josiah would have removed him from the land. Next, let's look at another example of the occult in Israel. Read the verses below and see what wicked King Manasseh did:
2 Kings 21
1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned
fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was
Hephzibah.
2 And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, after
the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the
children of Israel.
3 For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father
had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove,
as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven,
and served them.
4 And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD
said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts
of the house of the LORD.
6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times,
and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards:
he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke
[him] to anger.
King Manasseh was an evil King in Israel. What things did he do that was considered evil? Read the above closely. He got heavily involved in the occult and other such abominations to God. Doing all these things 'wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord'. Look at verse 6. Wicked King Manasseh did all the things that Harry Potter does and earned the anger and judgment of God as a result. That is an interesting thought. Do you think God is unaware of your occult involvement? Do you think He does not know that you allow your children to read occult/evil books like Harry Potter? Do you really think God is unaware of those who turn to the devil and his occultic abominations? Is it really 'harmless fun' to play with things God considers wickedness and an abomination? I say no!
Expect a dramatic increase in the occult and demonic as we get closer to the second coming of the Lord Jesus. As godless men and women reject God they will embrace evil and the occult. It will soon be so widespread that occultic things will be considered normal everywhere. Just as sexual sin is considered normal these days... so will the occult. Keep in mind that all occultism is an abomination to God. God hates it and warns people to stay clear from this evil. It is impossible for a person to play around with the occult and leave unharmed. One cannot pick up demonic fire and not get burned!

1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some
shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and
doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared
with a hot iron;
In the last days before the return of the Lord Jesus many will give heed to the demonic. By rejecting God, many will accept the demonic. A person cannot be close to God and accept occultism at the same time.
What should be done if you have occultic objects, toys, games, or Harry Potter books in your house? Simple... destroy them. Do not garage sell them or give them to someone else. No, destroy this Satanic trash and never again allow such filth into your house. This is a simple act of obedience for those who love God. (who may have gone astray) Below is a Biblical example of people destroying the occult things in their homes:
Acts 19
19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books
together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the
price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
Above people destroyed their occult items and they were worth a large sum of money. I encourage you to purge your home today of all occult books, toys, games, and objects.
God will judge those involved with the occult. It is not harmless fun. Instead it is an abomination to God and it results in the judgment and anger of God. God's attitude toward the occult has not changed. When God ruled Israel by theocracy, it was a capital offence to be involved in the occult. See the below verses:
Exo 22
18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
In days past people who practiced witchcraft with all the spells and fortune telling were put to death. For God to make such a law shows His disapproval against this evil.
Lev 20

Again the death penalty for those who practice the occult. Little wizards like Harry Potter would have been given the death penalty in old days in Israel.
1 Sam 28

and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put
away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of
the land.
Saul had 'put away' the occultists out of the land. This means he kicked them out of Israel. It was a capital offence to practice the occult in those days.
Granted, today we do not live under those laws so witches, wizards, and other occultists are not put to death or driven from the land. However, God will still judge those involved in the occult. One thing I can say for certain, is those who practice the occult will not go to heaven. What I said is very true. People who reject God just love the things of the devil. Below is a list of things greatly beloved by the devil and by lost people. Notice verse 21 clearly states those involved in the occult will not inherit the kingdom of God. That means they will perish forever in the lake of fire. It means they will not be going to heaven!
Gal 5
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;
Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath,
strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:
of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time
past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the
kingdom of God.
What more can be said than has been said in verse 21 above: "...that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." If you love and approve of the occult then be made aware of this fact now! You are on the devil's side. You are perishing and will not go to Heaven after this life is finished.
WOE TO THOSE PROMOTING EVIL
God is very aware that evil will come in this world. He has allowed men free choice to receive or reject Him. Those who reject God always accept the devil. These people then do and encourage the things that Satan would desire and approve. We clearly see this with the ungodly fornicators. Sodomites have been fighting for the right to be socially accepted and they have made it. Society has passed laws and gives benefits and 'normality' status to sodomites. Adultery and fornication is considered normal from all the godless people who have rejected God and the only Saviour, the Lord Jesus. The occult is also very popular with those who reject God. Again, God knows such evils will come into the world. However, He gives a 'woe' of judgment to those by whom these evils come. See the following verses:
Matt 18
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little
child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name
receiveth me.
6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which
believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were
hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth
of the sea.
7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs
be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the
offence cometh!
Luke 17
1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that
offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged
about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should
offend one of these little ones.
Are you reader encouraging and promoting evil? Does the above 'woe' apply to you as it certainly does with the author of the Harry Potter books? Get ready, in God's time judgment will certainly come!
This is a very sad thought... how many Christian families let their children get involved with Pokemon or Harry Potter? How many church pastors allow Harry Potter into their assembly? One liberal-apostate 'Christian' magazine (Christianity Today) has articles on the web praising the Harry Potter books while dismissing the blatant occultism! Ecumenical apostates like Colson praise Harry Potter books and psycho-babble Ministries like Dobson have little to say against it. This is very sad indeed. Surely we are in the last days apostasy where we see people falling away from the foundations of the Christian faith. All that can be said is... come back soon Lord Jesus! The tares love all kinds of evil such as Harry Potter, rock and roll music in the churches, ecumenicism, wolf word-of-faith preachers, and all forms of liberalism and heresies.

Ontario figures suggest growing complacency

An increasing number of gay men in Ontario are being diagnosed with the virus that causes AIDS, researchers say, and changing attitudes about safer sex and the disease itself could be to blame.
``Safer-sex fatigue'' and new drug treatments that allow people with HIV to live longer - perhaps easing the fear of AIDS - are two possible explanations for the higher infection rates, said Dr. Liviana Calzavara, an associate professor at the University of Toronto and deputy director of the school's HIV Social, Behaviorial and Epidemiological Unit.
``There has been, between 1996 and 1999, an increase in the number of new infections among men who are having sex with men,'' Calzavara said yesterday. ``Between 1992 to 1996, we had seen a constant decline in the men who are having sex (with men), in terms of infection rates. After 1996, we have been seeing an upswing, and that is somewhat of a concern.''
In 1992, the rate of infection among those tested was about 1.5 per 100 people, she said. By 1996, the rate had dropped to 0.87 infected per 100 tested, but at the end of 1999, it had risen to 2.07 infected per 100 people tested.
Researchers found higher infection rates primarily in Toronto and Ottawa, with the rates across the rest of the province remaining relatively static.
The findings will be presented to the 13th international AIDS conference next week in Durban, South Africa. The figures come from a provincial database that records the diagnosis of everyone who asks for an HIV test in the province, Calzavara said, noting that more gay men undergo the screening than any other population group.
Health officials in San Francisco recently discovered that
the rate of infection among gay men in that city has doubled.
In Ontario, the researchers put together the Polaris
study - made up of 67 people, the majority of whom are gay
men, all infected with HIV in the past year, and who had a
negative test in the past two years - to probe the
behaviours and attitudes that could have contributed to the

If you are a sodomite then you better go pick out a coffin as you
will be dying an early diseased death. If you are a heterosexual
fornicator then you better go and shop around for deals on grave
plots as it is just a matter of time before a sexually transmitted
disease like AIDS puts an end to your miserable, immoral days. If
you are stupid enough to think the concept of safe immoral sex offers
any protection at all, then you are a self deceived fool and should
also be in discussions with funeral homes to see if you can find a
deal. Perhaps they will offer a two-for-one package so you and your
immoral lover can be buried in the same hole? Or perhaps cremation
is the way to go. This way your diseased and decaying body can be
totally destroyed and there will be no danger of infection to the
funeral workers who would normally dress and prepare your diseased
dead body.
If you are an immoral fornicator you better prepare to die before your time. A person cannot violate the laws of God and prosper.
Here is what the Bible says. First point is that sexual sin is a sin against ones own body. Hence, there are all the terrible and deadly diseases that await to destroy and shorten the lifespan of the immoral:

Next, God actually allows the rebellious and sexually immoral to be given over to their sin. They become evil and base and develop unteachable and reprobate minds that can no longer discern between good or evil.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even
their women did change the natural use into that which is against
nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that
which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of
their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge,
God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which
are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,

Finally, here is an account of a rebellious young man who fornicated and then paid the price by the destruction of his body by disease.
Proverbs 5
1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my

keep knowledge.
3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and
her mouth is smoother than oil:

Verse 11 and 12 above shows the young man mourning as he is dying in a disease racked body. He laments the fact that he hated instruction and reproof. He rejected sound teaching and is now dying as a result of his rebelliousness. Do you know anyone like that? Well our current society praises and lifts up on high people like the above young man. Many young men like the above today are considered 'role models' and even star in big Hollywood movies as they freely fornicate from partner to partner. However the young man in the above Biblical example died as a result of his sin and that fact is hidden from those who promote sexual sin. The lesson to be learned from the above Scripture is there is a price to pay for sexual sin. You may very well pay that price with your life or you could suffer for the rest of your life with a terrible degenerating disease!
THE SOLUTION:
Flee fornication! Come to the Lord Jesus and receive Him as your Lord and Saviour! Do it today as tomorrow may be too late!!
