Welcome to this month's issue of The Rapture Report!
Since last month there has been a growing trend for soldiers in Iraq to get sick. One very healthy and strong 20 year old boy (Josh) died from a mysterious illness where his body failed and his organs stopped working. Sadly, this will be a growing trend. The USA dropped over 3000 tons of depleted uranium in Iraq. The land is literally polluted with dust sized radioactive material. As people inhale, eat, or get the radioactive dust in their clothes they slowly begin to die. Some who get high doses will die much quicker than others. Sadly Josh got a high dose and is already in eternity. For the others, they can develop radiation related sickness within the timeframe of 1 to 10 years depending on radiation exposure level. The people of Iraq are destroyed as are the ground soldiers. The radioactive dust has literally polluted the land! Watch for more strange cases of sickness from Iraq as there is no hiding from radioactive sickness!
Also watch for more war trouble in Iraq. There is a great concern that the war in Iraq is not yet over. Saddam's army strangely disappeared after giving very little resistance. Intelligence reports have said he built massive hidden underground cities. At some point he could rally his troops and do a massive attack against weary US soldiers. I personally question the news that claims his sons were killed. If they were then they were just very stupid to travel together and to go to a hostile city where they could be spotted. Time will tell but the sons of Saddam may not have graduated to hell as of yet!
Also in the news is North Korea. That is a war area that could start up at any time. When and if war breaks out with North Korea, it will be a nuclear war. The USA cannot defeat them by non-nuclear means. This war could very well be part of the process used to bring to power the antichrist.
Matt 24
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be
not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the
end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and
earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
The sin of sodomy is being greatly prospered by the devil and his people. The sodomites have even admitted that the ten percent of sodomites in society is a lie. In reality it is more like one percent or less. But Satan is doing everything possible to increase that number. It is amazing that only one percent (or less) of the population could succeed in prospering a perversion such as sodomy. This truly shows how powerful and influential Satan and his demons can be upon human society. But always remember that God has given the devil a little time to do his thing. Soon Satan (like a dog on a leash) will be allowed to bring to power the antichrist and all the prophecies of God judging the world will come to pass. The signs of impending judgment from a Holy God are all around us. Christians seem to be looking more to heaven these days in anticipation of the return of the Lord Jesus to rapture us home! For some there will be no surprise when the Lord Jesus raptures His people to heaven. For others, they will be completely surprised and taken off-guard. I certainly hope you are ready and waiting for the Lord Jesus as the day is quickly approaching!
There is a new term that Satan has introduced. The effeminate man or the new term: metrosexual. This is the latest perverted name that has come out of the latest trend to accept the sin of sodom (homosexuality). The metrosexual is a straight man (heterosexual) who is "in touch" with his female side. This metrosexual primps himself like a female in hygene (makeup, conditioners, fingernails, toenails etc) but still claims to be "straight". This is sick! God created men to be men and women to be women. Ones goal should not be for a man to find his female side! Instead we should on a daily basis seek to draw near unto the Lord and to grow in grace and love of the Lord Jesus! What more can be said than that? The metrosexual is a term describing the way of the Christ-rejecting godless man who seeks to be "hip" or "with-it" in a perverted society.
Rom 1
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even
their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of
the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men
working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that
recompence of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge,
God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are
not convenient;
Here is a thought. What is rock music? Answer: It is music for lost hellbound sinners. Its purpose is to blind the person's heart to his need for salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ. Rock music offers temporal and sinful pleasure as part of the blinding process. It is filled with fornication, drug use, blasphemy against God, love of pleasure, disrespect, and rebellion. Rock music has also been designed by Satan to be more addictive than a drug. People who are addicted just cannot get enough of it. There is also a constant "thirst" for new sounds or tunes. This is why many rock addicts have hundreds or thousands of "artists" recordings. Hellbound sinners do not have much time here on earth in light of eternity. They may live up to 70 or so years. In that time they grab whatever joys and pleasures possible before dying and perishing in hell. Rock music is one form of pleasure designed by Satan to keep people blindly walking down the broad road that leads to the lake of fire!
Titus 1
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him,
being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Finally have you noticed the weather lately? On a world-wide level there have been all kinds of weather extremes and disasters. I would say as we get closer to the return of the Lord Jesus this type of thing will increase. It is like the Lord is sending strange and extreme weather to warn people that Divine judgment is coming!
With the acceptance of sodomy, the lust for the occult, the growing apostasy with "professing" Christians, and the love of sexual immorality, I believe God will soon act. Everything is in place and ready for the rise of the antichrist. The world has the computer technology to implement the mark of the beast and peoples hearts are turned far away from God. The only thing keeping the antichrist from rising is God's permission. But the day is coming when God will allow the devil to bring to power his antichrist and then all the end time Bible prophecies will come to pass! Of course before the antichrist can rise to power the "restrainer" must be first removed from earth! That restrainer is the Spirit filled born again Christians. The Holy Spirit works in and through His people to restrain evil and the antichrist. After the rapture that restraint will be removed and the devil will then be free to setup the kingdom of the antichrist. Only God knows the exact time of the rapture, but God's people are growing in anticipation of our soon coming King as each day passes!
Acts 17
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the
world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof
he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him
from the dead.
I certainly hope you have the Lord Jesus as your Saviour and are ready to spend your eternity in the presence of God in heaven!
I recently heard from a false Christian tare who seemed to be a tad bit angry. He made the following two points:
1) I love the Lord Jesus with all my heart
2) I love to read Harry Potter
The tare then showed his anger at my stand against the world of the occult.
Look closely at the above two points. On the one hand this tare claimed to be a Christian. On the other hand this tare loves Satan's world of the occult with all its witchcrafts, sorceries, and spells!
Two verses immediately came to my mind concerning this false Christian tare:
Titus 1
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny
him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good
work reprobate.
Notice the two points given from the professing Christian tare in light of Titus 1:16. Point 1 was a profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Point 2 was a complete denial of that faith by his actions. This tare loved the world of the Satan's occult. He proved he does not belong to God by his actions which were a direct contradiction of his words!
The next verse that came to mind was a stern warning from the Lord to those who think they can play with and enjoy Satan's occultism:
Lev 20
6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits,
and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my
face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
The occult is a very evil sin before the Lord. It is so evil that it is considered an abomination. This type of activity is not really an issue for God's blood bought people. Saved people know better than to get involved with the world of the occult. Lost people, on the other hand, love all that Satan has to offer. They enjoy their Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, D&D, and all the options for occultic entertainment!
Here is a verse that shows how the occult is an abomination to the Lord:
Deut 18
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son
or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination,
or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard,
or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD:
and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them
out from before thee.
Notice the above verses and consider this fact: All that Harry Potter and the world of Lord of the Rings stand for are condemned by God in the above verses!
CONCLUSION
Most false Christian tares are very easy to spot in these last days. These people love the same things that Satan loves. They reject doctrine and obedience from the Lord. Tares love the world of the occult. It is great fun and entertainment to them! They are also great lovers of all the Rock Music Satan has to offer. Tares usually attend liberal experience based churches where doctrine is not considered important.
With their mouth a tare may speak great glowing words and make great professions of their faith in the Lord Jesus. However, their actions will show the lost condition of their soul. These people belong to Satan and have never been redeemed. Beware of such people and stay far from them!
Jude
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and
ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished
in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast
with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are
without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit
withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame;
wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness
for ever.
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these,
saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are
ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have
ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly
sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own
lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having
men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before
of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last
time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not
the Spirit.
In this article we will briefly look at the surrounding noises produced at the time of the rapture. When the Lord Jesus returns to take home His Church the actual even will be very fast and silent to the lost world. However, the Christian will be exposed so some heavenly sounds.
What are those heavenly sounds? We will look at some verses that describe the rapture for clues:
We will start be looking at a verse in Revelation chapter 4. Some believe this is a call up to heaven for the church and others do not. At any rate lets look at the noises described.
Rev 4
1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven:
and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet
talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew
thee things which must be hereafter.
The following noises are mentioned:
1) trumpet sound. John describes hearing a sound like a trumpet talking with him. That would be a very strange noise. What did the trumpet say:
2) Come up hither... John was told to come up hither which was his call to heaven. Could this same call be given to the Church?
Next look at the main set of rapture verses:
1 Thess 4
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning
them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which
have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so
them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we
which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall
not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and
the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall
we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Verse 16 above describes several noises that are related to the rapture.
1) shout. The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud shout. Notice that the shout is loud! What will the Lord be shouting at the time of the rapture? Could it be a "Come up hither" as in Revelation chapter 4? We will not know the answer to that question until the actual rapture takes place.
2) In addition to the shout there is the voice of the archangel. What will be said at this time? Again we will not know until the actual rapture takes place.
3) Finally there is the trump of God. This trumpet sound is one specifically for the Church. It is a trumpet of victory and of our gathering together. This is very different from the trumpets of judgment found in the book of Revelation.
Conclusion
So what does all these noises mean? One thing we know is that they are not for the benefit of the Lord. The noises sounding at the rapture time will be for the benefit of the Church being raptured and to announce the event to all the hosts of heaven.
The rapture is a surprise event that can happen at any time. We know it is very close as it is getting easier to see the kingdom of the antichrist being setup. When the rapture does occur many of God's people will be surprised or shocked. Imagine going about your daily life (or sleeping at nighttime) and all of a sudden meeting the Lord in the clouds. That alone is a shocking event. I would guess that the sounds of the rapture will be a comfort for God's people as they will have to quickly re-orient themselves to their new eternal situation.
Over the years I have overheard many lost people talking about their religious beliefs. Many bring up the subject of Christianity and why they reject it. Sadly, many reject the Lord Jesus and they do not have a proper understanding of the salvation they reject.
I have heard many foolish arguments as to why lost men reject the Lord Jesus. Many excuses given show a lack of understanding of true Biblical Christianity. To me this does not make any sense! If a person chooses to reject salvation they should at least have a correct understanding of the salvation they are rejecting. Doesn't that make sense to you?
Here are some excuses that show a complete lack of understanding of the Gospel message and salvation.
I dont want to go to heaven. Its too boring with no booze or sexual immorality. (Here this person has no concept of what heaven or hell really is!)
I wanna go to hell where all my friends are. I plan to party in hell (Another dim-witted excuse showing a complete lack of understanding between heaven and hell. It will be very hard to have a party while burning in fire and brimstone!)
What! If I don't worship God He will cast me into hell (This excuse shows a complete lack of understanding for Biblical salvation. It is far more involved then worshipping God!)
There are many more excuses for rejecting salvation as I've just listed a few. All the above excuses for rejecting salvation in the Lord Jesus show an ignorance to the plan of salvation. Since we will live forever in either heaven or hell, I think a person should gain the proper understanding for the plan of salvation. Once done, if a person rejects the Lord Jesus, then at least they are aware of what they are rejecting.
Let me also add this point. To ignore the issue is another form of rejecting the Lord Jesus and salvation. It shows that the person feels salvation is just not an important issue in their life.
In light of everything said so far, lets look at the plan of salvation so a person can gain proper understanding.
HERE IS THE SIMPLE PLAN OF SALVATION
1) Understand that everyone (including yourself) is a sinner
Rom 3
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
2) Sin has a penalty and that penalty is death and eternal separation from God. God is a just God who demands justice for sin. The penalty must be paid and that penalty is eternal separation in the lake of fire. This is also known as the second death. The first death is the physical death of the body and the second death is eternal separation of the soul from God.
Rom 6
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rev 21
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers,
and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall
have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:
which is the second death.
3) God became a man and paid the price/penalty for our sins on the cross. We are lost sinners who could never pay that penalty. However, the Lord Jesus suffered all the penalty and the wrath of God that was due to us for our sins.
John 3
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth
not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name
of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
4) Even though the penalty for sin has been paid, a person must receive God's gift of salvation. Salvation can never be earned or merited. Instead it is a gift to be received.
Eph 2
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
5) How does a person receive God's gift of salvation in the Lord Jesus? A person must realize they are a sinner before God and have an attitude of repentance (or turning away) toward their sin. Repentance is admitting you are a sinner with a willingness to turn away from a life of sin and rebellion toward God. A person must realize that the Lord Jesus (God in human flesh) came to earth and completely paid for their sin. The person must then open the door to their heart and ask the Lord Jesus to come into their life to be their Lord and Saviour. The Lord Jesus only comes by invitation so the person must want with all their heart, soul, and mind for the Lord Jesus to be their Saviour.
Isaiah 55
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man
his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will
have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Psalms 38
18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
Acts 3
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be
blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the
presence of the Lord;
Luke 13
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Rev 3
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my
voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup
with him, and he with me.
Once the Lord Jesus becomes your Saviour, at that point you are "righteous" before God. The Lord Jesus took your sin and paid for it on the cross and He gave you His righteousness. When God looks at a saved person, He no longer sees their sin. Instead He sees the righteousness of the Lord Jesus. The blood that the Lord Jesus shed on the cross is a permanent covering for sin.
Rom 4
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was
imputed to him;
24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe
on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again
for our justification.
John 20
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is
the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have
life through his name.
LOST PEOPLE
The lost person is in a different situation. This person has made a choice not to accept the Lord Jesus and the gift of salvation. Since God's justice for sin must be paid, the lost person is in effect saying to God: "I'll pay for my sins myself as I do not want the Lord Jesus to be my Saviour". What will happen is that God will honor the choice made by the lost person. Since the lost person does not want the Lord Jesus as Saviour, then that lost person must pay for his sins himself. As already mentioned, the penalty is an eternity burning in the lake of fire.
Matt 25
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from
me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and
his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and
ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me
not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they
also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst,
or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister
unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch
as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the
righteous into life eternal.
Rev 14
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is
poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he
shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the
holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:
and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his
image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Rev 20
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose
face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no
place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the
books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book]
of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were
written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell
delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every
man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is
the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was
cast into the lake of fire.
Rev 21

CONCLUSION
If a person goes to hell it is by choice. That is a very sad thought! It is sad to think that a person would reject God's salvation in the Lord Jesus and choose instead to pay for their sins themselves.
God will honor that decision. If the lost person wants to go to hell to pay for his own sins then that is an acceptable choice. Also, if a person wants to turn from their sin in repentance and accept the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, then that is also an acceptable choice. Either the Lord Jesus will pay for YOUR sins or YOU will pay for them. God will honor whatever choice you make. The simple fact is that sin will be paid for!
Remember that God loves the sinner so much that He became a man and took the penalty for sin on the cross as a substitute so YOU would not have to. The choice is now up to each individual. You must choose to accept or to reject the Lord Jesus.
After reading this tract you can no longer reject the plan of salvation and the Lord Jesus Christ out of ignorance. You must choose. Choose the Lord Jesus NOW, or reject Him!

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this
day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served
that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites,
in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve
the LORD.
What is a "Hell bunny?" I give this label to describe a type of people who are willingly on their way to hell. These people have rejected the Lord Jesus either directly or by ignoring their great need for salvation. Hell bunnies do not have a heart to hear the Gospel. Instead they live their lives on this earth as if that is all there is to life and eternity.
Sadly they are eternally wrong!
In this tract we will look at several characteristics of a modern day "hell bunny".
- Deep down they know hell is very real. Some hell bunnies know hell is real yet they don't care.
- Some bunnies deny the reality of hell. Have you ever met the person who has said there is no God and there is no hell! Well the sad news for them is that both God and hell exist just fine even though such a person chooses not to believe!
- They want to go to hell. They are deceived into thinking that hell is going to be fun. This attitude describes many pleasure loving people today!
- Some hell bunnies are deceived into thinking that they will reign in hell. Little do they know that Satan hates them and seeks their eternal destruction in the lake of fire
- Hell bunnies love rock and Roll. Lost people love the music of the devil. Satan was created a musical being and his talents can be easily seen in the entire rock and roll music scene.
- Satan's rock groups tell them hell is a good place to go. This is just a part of Satan's rock and roll. Hell bunnies believe this lie and many are looking forward to the time when the are "welcomed into hell" so they can "party" with their friends.
- Hell bunnies blaspheme God. This is also a very big part of Satan's rock and roll scene. Hell bunnies imitate their rock and roll groups. Mocking and speaking blasphemies to God is "cool" for the hell bunny.
- Their rock groups are very immoral and blasphemous. This is a major part of the rock and roll scene. Sexual immorality in all its forms is very popular with hell bunnies.
- Hell bunnies party now with no concern for eternal life and heaven. Hell bunnies live in the NOW. They think nothing of tomorrow or eternal life.
- Hell bunnies are actively involved in the occult. Their rock groups encourage occult involvement and the use of occultic symbols.
- Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and occult games are very popular with hell bunnies. They also love Dungeons and Dragons and all forms of witchcraft, wizardry, and spell casting. They laugh at the thought that these activities are an abomination to God.
- Hell bunnies love to take drugs. This would include alcohol, pills, soft and hard drugs. Drug use is also a major part of rock and roll and the popular Satanic bands set the example by taking lots of drugs as well.
- Hell bunnies love the darkness and all the goodies of the devil. They readily accept the things of the devil while rejecting and mocking the things of the Lord.
- Hell bunnies get very angry if their evil ways or false doctrines are challenged. They are known to scream out: narrow-minded, judgmental, unloving, Pharisees, and touch not God's anointed. Hell bunnies may call themselves "Christian" but they reject sound Biblical doctrine.
- Some hell bunnies attend church and even dare to call themselves "Christian". Beware of them! However they are easy to spot in these last days. They have evil fruit, reject sound Biblical doctrine, and love the things of the devil.
- When hell bunnies finally make it to the lake of fire, this is what will await them as the smoke of their torment will be forever.
Rev 14
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is
poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he
shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the
holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:
and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his
image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
All unsaved people will be cast into the lake of fire where they will suffer a hopeless and lost eternity.
It is not a light thing to reject and to trample on the salvation of God!
Heb 2
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at
the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto
us by them that heard him;
Don't be a hell bunny! Listen to the plan of salvation and accept the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Saviour!
ALL HAVE SINNED:

20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not
bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father

SINNERS PRAYER
Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner and I ask You to come into my life to forgive and save me. I now receive You as my Saviour (trusting in You ALONE to save me) and my Lord (making You my Master and committing my life to You).
We are living in the very last days before the return of the Lord Jesus to rapture home His Church. The world is a troubled mess. We live in perilous days with all the threats of war, disease, and disasters. Each day somewhere in the world there is news of some kind of disaster. Even the weather has gone wild with all kinds of massive storms and disasters. The days we live in are very troubled and the sad news is that things will continue to get worse. The world is coming upon the time when God will pour out His judgments on the world.
Even with these evil days the born-again Christian still has hope. It is very important for God's people to keep their eyes focused on the Lord Jesus. Faith or trust in the Lord Jesus is like an anchor to the soul. No matter what happens in the world, the Christian who is walking close to the Lord Jesus will stand solid as a rock! God is very faithful and God's people are very secure as they place their hope in Him. Here is what the Bible says:
Lam 3
24 The LORD [is] my portion, saith my soul; therefore
will I hope in him.
25 The LORD [is] good unto them that wait for him, to
the soul [that] seeketh him.
26 [It is] good that [a man] should both hope and quietly
wait for the salvation of the LORD.
It is a very good thing for a person to hope in the Lord and to patiently wait until the appointed time. Soon the Lord Jesus will return to rapture home all saved Christians. While we wait God wants His people to seek a close walk and to set our hope in Him. Here are some points to consider:
1) Christians have the Lord to set their hope in these last days. No matter how troubled the anchor of our souls is the Lord Jesus Christ.
2) The Lord is aware of His people and He has many good thoughts towards them.
3) God wants His people to wait and to seek after Him
4) It is a very good thing for a man to hope and to seek the Lord
5) Waiting for the Lord involves patience and trust
6) In these last days set your heart and faith upon the Lord
7) The world is getting very evil in these last days
8) Lost people do the opposite from saved people. They set their hearts upon worldly and temporal things. Many set their hearts upon the enjoyment of sin and evil. This is why sexual immorality and the occult is very popular in these last days.
9) Lost people also reject the things of God while accepting the things of the devil.
CONCLUSION

15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always
to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope
that is in you with meekness and fear:
Hope in the Lord! In these last days keep your eyes and your faith locked on the Lord Jesus. The world will continue to get worse and more evil as we near the return of the Lord. Be sure to read God's Word daily and draw nigh unto the Lord.
I've been wondering how much of an impact the rapture will have on the world. Right now Satan is prospering the occult where many who profess to be Christians are enjoying witchcraft in Harry Potter, occult games, and Lord of the Rings. Plus rock and roll music has taken over many churches. The guise of "good" religious rock has been dropped and the tare kids are obsessed with secular rock and roll. Sadly, in many cities it is very hard for a saved person to find a solid Bible based church assembly. If you don't live in a Bible belt area then a good solid Bible believing church is very rare.
When the rapture finally happens, it doesn't look like a whole lot of people will be going up. Of course all saved people will go up in the rapture. My point is that there just is not a whole lot of saved people in the world. Look at this verse to illustrate that point:
Matt 7
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is
the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which
go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth
unto life, and few there be that find it.
As you can see in the above verse that the majority of people will not be saved. This can be easily seen by looking at all the rejection of the Lord Jesus. Even those who profess to believe in Jesus show their rejection of Him as they accept the occult, reject sound Biblical doctrine, attend liberal churches, and love their demonic rock and roll music. For many, their actions deny the so-called faith they claim to possess! Read the following:
Titus 1
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him,
being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate
There may be "pockets" of churches where whole churches go up in the rapture, but that will be a very rare occurrence. As a rule God has His people scattered. There will be a few here taken and a few there taken.
We'll have to see but maybe the rapture will be more of a non-event to the world than we have given credit. I know back in the 80's the popular view was that the world would be turned upside down. But back then the wheat and tares were growing together and they were difficult to tell apart. Today as we approach the great harvest the wheat and tare is in full bloom. It is very easy to spot a false Christian tare. These people profess to be a Christian but they love the same things the devil loves. Now we are in the year 2003 and there is a world-wide apostasy and a great famine of the things of the Lord. I'm beginning to wonder differently about the impact of the rapture. I really don't think the saved Christians will be missed that much. The main shock of the rapture will be the disappearance of young children and babies. That event will shock the world much more than the disappearance of the FEW Bible believers.
Remember after the rapture many people will be saved. In those days when the antichrist is ruling and reigning on earth, men and women must make a quick choice. They must choose between God and Satan. Sadly many will choose Satan and will worship him and accept the mark of the beast. However the Bible indicates that many, many, many people will choose to reject the devil and will accept the Lord Jesus!
Their lives will be short as the devil and his people will literally round up and kill all people who refuse to worship Satan and receive the mark of the beast. Only a few will survive to the end of the 7 year tribulation period and enter the 1000 year millennial Kingdom living as a mortal.
To conclude this tract I would encourage all who read it to commit their lives to the Lord Jesus. Repent of your sin and receive the Lord Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Saviour. Keep in mind that one day soon we will all be standing before the Lord Jesus.
Regular cannabis users are at greater risk of developing mental illness later in life, according to research.
One study found that the risk was seven times higher for heavy users, said Professor Robin Murray of the Institute of Psychiatry in London.
Speaking at the Royal College of Psychiatrists' annual conference in Edinburgh, he said: "In the last 18 months a number of studies have confirmed that cannabis consumption acts to increase later risk of schizophrenia. This research must not be ignored."
The findings come as the Government prepares to downgrade cannabis from a Class B to Class C drug next year.
Most people caught in possession of a small amount will have the drugs confiscated and receive a reprimand or warning, the Home Office has said.
According to a Government fact sheet, cannabis "can cause psychotic reactions amongst individuals with mental health problems", but it does not suggest use of the drug can prompt those problems.
For his study, Professor Murray reviewed research in Sweden, Holland and New Zealand.
A recent Dutch study of 4,000 people in the general population showed that those taking large amounts of cannabis were almost seven times more likely to have psychotic symptoms three years later.
Another study, in 1987, of 50,000 Swedish Army conscripts, found that those who admitted at age 18 to having taken cannabis on more than 50 occasions, were six times more likely to develop schizophrenia in the following 15 years.
Professor Murray said these findings had been largely ignored.

Sadly Canada has shown their rejection of the things of God by
legally approving both the sin of sodomy (homosexuality) and by
approving cannabis use. In Canada there is just a small fine
if you are caught with a small portion of the drug. It is
the same type of an offense as jay-walking across a street.
Sadly, this ruling will encourage people to use other types drugs
more frequently.
There are warnings about the use of cannabis which have been totally ignored. People are pleasure seekers and the use of drugs and alcohol gives pleasure to many people as they walk in this world down the broad road to hell. The above article outlines some medical concerns with the use of cannabis. In my opinion, articles like the above will be totally ignored.
Here is an interesting thought. How does the devil blind a person so they cannot see Bible prophecy being fulfilled right in front of them? Or, how are people so blinded that they cannot see their need for the only Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ? Satan has several tools at his disposal. Drug and alcohol use will damage and cloud a person's mind and aid in the blinding process. Another method the devil uses is fornication in all its forms. As people fornicate and violate the moral laws of God, their hearts get harder and they are more blinded to the things of the Lord. The use of drugs or alcohol is very good at breaking down morals and inhibitions where people become willing to engage in sexual sin that they would not normally do.
In the name of pleasure seeking, the lost person has a place for drug use. These poor people reach out and try to enjoy life while living in rejection of the Lord Jesus. As they seek pleasure through sin it will slowly destroy their body. The drugs and alcohol will damage the physical and mental state of the person. The sexual fornication will open the door to all kinds of deadly life threatening types of sexual diseases.
The lost person has a short life here on earth and he tries to fill it with as much enjoyment as possible. Drugs and fornication offer a form of pleasure that also blinds the person to their eternally lost spiritual condition. Others blindly seek money and wealth. The end result is the same! A lost eternity without the Lord Jesus!
Mark 8
36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole
world, and lose his own soul?
37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words
in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the
Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father

Rev 22

We are living in very troubled days. All the prophetic signs are pointing to the return of the Lord. We can see the world preparing to receive their antichrist. The world-wide massive acceptance of witchcraft, wizardry, spellcasting, and occultism have prepared many people for the plans of Satan.
This is truly a unique time in history. Within the last 100 years there is no way that Satan could have gotten world-wide acceptance for occultism like he has done now. It started with the rock and roll which took root in society in the 1950's. Over the years this music has degenerated to show its real demonic fruit. Rock is filled with all kinds of sexual perversion, sexual immorality, blasphemy, drug use, false religious teachings, and rebellion. It took time but slowly people and churches have accepted Satan's music. With rock music also came gross compromise, rejection of Biblical doctrine, and apostasy. The same process is being done with the occult. The world is being indoctrinated into all forms of spellcasting, witchcraft, wizardry, and occultism. Again the devil started slowly with wizardry in Mickey mouse and other cartoons. Now Satan is prospering full witchcraft training manuals in the form of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings books and movies. Lost people are receiving all the demonic world of the occult with open arms. Since lost people have rejected the Lord Jesus, it is surprising how receptive they are to the occultic ways of Satan.
This is very important for the time when the antichrist comes to power. One of the main things he will do is to lead people into the worship of Satan. The last stepping stone of the occult is very important for that process. As a person is drawn into the world of the occult they get much closer to Satan. At some point these people will be ready and willing to accept worshipping Satan. All people who reject the Lord Jesus will gladly bow their knee in worship to Satan in the coming days!
Along with all this preparation for the kingdom of antichrist and the worship of Satan, the world leaders are also busy. They seem to be heading toward a one-world government system that will ultimately be controlled by the antichrist himself. The Bible gives a brief description of the world leaders who will conspire against God as they seek to setup the kingdom of antichrist.
Psalm 2
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take
counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have
them in derision.
Satan and his followers will briefly succeed in setting up the kingdom of the antichrist. However, it will not be a pleasant time in human history. During that time all the judgments of the book of Revelation will be poured out upon planet earth. God will literally judge the world and ultimately the kingdom of the antichrist will fall apart and be destroyed.
Right now the Lord is slowly removing the restraint on evil which is allowing the devil and his people to prosper in their ways. All forms of sexual perversion is prospering in the world. Canada and Hollywood have embraced the sin of sodomy (homosexuality). They have sought to make legal and legitimate that which is condemned by God and is an abomination to Him. Also, witchcraft, spells, and wizardry have been popularized by Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Lost people and false Christian tares are flocking into world of the occult and everything Satan offers.
Here is the good news. When we see all these preparations being made for the kingdom of the antichrist, how soon the rapture must be! One of these days, and hopefully very soon, the Lord Jesus will fulfill our hearts desire. He will come and rapture home all the true believers to heaven! What a joy that will be to finally see the Lord Jesus face-to-face!
However, don't let anyone lead you astray by setting some kind of a rapture date. Only God knows the exact date of the rapture. All datesetters are rebellious people and have already brought much shame and mockery against the Lord and Bible prophecy. We cannot know the exact date of the rapture. Yet the datesetter sets date after date only to watch them fail and then fail again. Do they repent of this sin? Of course not! These date setters just set another date and the process repeats itself.
Even though we cannot know the exact date of the rapture, we can, however, look at the signs of the times and say that the time is very near! The rapture will occur before the antichrist is allowed to rise to power. If the preparations are being made for the kingdom of the antichrist, then how soon the rapture must be! The rapture could literally happen this year. Then again should the Lord tarry, the rapture could happen next year! Do you see what I'm getting at? We cannot know the exact date but we can rejoice in the fact that the date of the rapture is quickly approaching! We also hope in the fact that the Lord has the exact day of the rapture marked on His prophetic calendar. One day it will be rapture day! Isn't that a happy thing to look forward to? Remember this verse where the Lord Jesus says He will come "quickly"!
Rev 22

It is very good to be reminded of these things again and again. We need this because we are "leaky" vessels. It is a good thing to be constantly encouraged and to be an encouragement to others! To just look at the news and world events, one can become depressed. However, to look at the news and world events in light of Bible prophecy can give great hope and encouragement.
Luke 21 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Isa 55:6
6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while
he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his
thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have
mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Here are some points I wish to draw your attention to:
1) Today is the day of salvation. God never promises tomorrow but He does promise TODAY! Death can come at the most unexpected of times. It is very important that TODAY you accept the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Saviour!
2) God's judgment is coming upon this land and the world. This is a fact as true as the law of gravity. Judgment is coming upon the world. God will not withhold judgment forever. Lost man will not be able to indulge in their sin and rejection of God forever! God has appointed a day and a time of judgment. The world is rapidly moving to that time when God will pour out all the judgments found in the book of Revelation.
3) People must make their choice... God or Satan. There is no other choice. There is no such thing as sitting on the fence. If a person ignores the Lord Jesus, it is the same thing as openly rejecting Him. Either the Lord Jesus is your Lord and Saviour or He is not. Either you belong to the Lord Jesus or you belong to the devil.
4) There is no middle ground. Everyone is accountable and no-one is neutral! A person will either accept the Lord Jesus or he will accept the devil. To do nothing is the same as rejecting the Lord Jesus.
John 3
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that
believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God
abideth on him.
Many lost people like to speculate what will happen to them after death. What will the afterlife be like? Will there be some kind of loving white light that accepts everyone irregardless of religion? Will there be nothingness as a person ceases to exist? The above verse answers that question of life after death. Simply put, a person who has the Lord Jesus as Saviour has eternal life in heaven. Those who have rejected the Lord Jesus does not have eternal life in heaven. Instead the wrath of God abides upon him. That person will perish in their sins and spend their lost eternity in the lake of fire. Read the above verse again and again until these points sink into your understanding.
This leaves you with a choice if you are not saved. Don't delay but, come to the Lord Jesus today as He will never cast away a soul that comes to Him with repentance and a sincere heart.
John 6

There is a great famine in the land these days. Yes there are places in the world where people are starving. But there is a famine that is currently affecting everyone in the world. That famine is a famine with the Word of God! Read the below:
Amo 8
11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a
famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water,
but of hearing the words of the LORD:
12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even
to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD,
and shall not find [it].
Today the Bible is rejected and mocked by the lost. Most people really want nothing to do with the Bible and sound Biblical doctrine. Also, Biblical morality is rejected and mocked by a sin craving society.
Also, prayer and the Bible are not welcome in schools or public buildings. It is interesting to note that the witchcraft of Harry Potter is very welcome in the same schools that reject the Bible. Why do people openly accept the things of the devil and reject the things of God?
This famine has made its mark on the professing Christian church. There is a great falling away from within the professing Christian church. Sound doctrine has been rejected. The Bible is no longer the foundation for belief and morality. Many who claim to be Christians are not at all. These religious people like the religious trappings without a close relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
We live in sad days where people are starving from the Word of the Lord. There is a cure for the famine! That cure is found in the Lord Jesus and in the daily reading of God's Word, the Bible. There is no famine to those who love the Lord and His Word!
Isa 55
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that
hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk
without money and without price.
Remember the fact that everyone is invited to come to the Lord. Sadly most do not want to be saved but would rather have everything offered by the Devil.
Do not be like those who have rejected the Lord Jesus!
COME TO THE LORD JESUS FOR SALVATION
Mat 11
28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I
will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly
in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.
Sadly most lost hellbound sinners are not eager to come to the Lord Jesus for salvation. However, God is very eager for the lost hellbound sinner to be saved.
The Lord Jesus now awaits before you with open arms. Please accept Him as your Lord and Saviour and do it today!
